Navigation was upgraded to a search-engine-friendly
multi-level drop down navigation system based on CSS to make it easy
to navigate the large inventory. (This is a page design template
developed for their programmers to use to redesign the entire site.) |

The original site on the left used a "wood grain" background that made it very hard to read the text. There was a ton of text all in a small font with nothing to show emphasis or draw attention.
The new site above reflects the high-quality image the company wanted to project. There is a javascript slideshow of rotating pictures in the area where you see the deck photo on this screen shot.
The new site successfully conveyed the image they wanted to project and serves as a photo archive to allow customers to see ideas for decks and fences they may want at their home. |
